Sum 41 Drop New Singles/Videos 'Death In The Family' & 'Never There'

June 20, 2019

Canadian punk rockers Sum 41 have just dropped two brand new singles on top of the previously released 'Out for Blood' off of the upcoming album 'Order in Decline'.

Where 'Out for Blood' was balls to the wall heavy as fuck, 'Death in the Family' is anthemic in Sum 41 tradition. Through a balance of in your face riffs and a soaring chorus, lyrics like “Your lies will tear you apart...Your fate is left to a different generation. You know they won’t be kind” echo throughout the track.

The most recent release 'Never There' is as far left from the last two as it gets. Singer Deryck Whibley lays his heart out for everyone. It's clear as day that this song is about as personal as Whibley has ever been. "I know that if I had the chance....I'd let you know that I understand....I've let you go". The lyric content and video together are heart breaking and mesmerising.

The so far released singles have set a new depth and tone for the upcoming album, set for release July 19. I'm so excited for this new album, I can feel another 'Chuck' on it's way. I can tell you now, this album is going to be next level. Bring it!

**insert 41 salute**
