'They say you can't choose your family but that's bullshit, you can because here we are, we have chosen our family' reflects Nikki on the words spoken to her by fellow band mate Dan Bonnici.
Pagan are more than a band, and in their own words they are a family who are bonded by the music they create.
Not only that, they are one of the hardest working and best live acts in the country destroying stages and amassing a following everywhere they go.
Last weekend the band kicked off their Evil Eye Australian Tour to thunderous response and will see Pagan vehemently spit out selections from their critically acclaimed debut album, Black Wash all across the country before they head back to Europe.
Nev Pearce spoke to Pagan vocalist Nikki Brumen for the Everblack Podcast about The Evil Eye Tour, conquering Europe, how they see the band as a family and what the future has in store for them!

Black Wash has spawned three singles to date, fan-favourites Imitate Me, Silver and Death Before Disco; all of which have received regular spins on prestigious heavy music radio shows, including the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and Triple J’s Short.Fast.Loud and The Racket just to name a few. Pagan also received rave reviews for their first ever headline tour of Australia last August, performing a string of wild and raucous ceremonies in celebration of the album.
