Since the announcement of 2019’s Download Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, fans in Brisbane have been waiting patiently for news of sideshow’s to drop.

Early this morning Live Nation and participating touring companies opened the flood gates and set social media on fire for our fellow Queenslander's and gave us all something to celebrate!

Slayer + Anthrax + Behemoth

Leading the news is Slayer’s sideshow with Anthrax and Behemoth at Riverstage on Thursday March 7 as well as AEC Arena in Adelaide on March 13.
Slayer are currently on the final world tour and word is they will be hanging up their bullet belts at the end of 2019 making it your last chance to see the thrash legends in the flesh.

Tickets for the Brisbane and Adelaide shows go on sale ‪at 11am Wednesday, November 21.‬

Alice in Chains


With the release of their latest album Rainier Fog, fans have been hanging to see if Alice in Chains would be doing a side show in Queensland.
The 90’s Grunge era legends will be playing a headline show at Eaton’s Hill Hotel on Wednesday March 13.
As it has been a few years since we saw them down under you can guarantee it will sell out.

Tickets for the just announced Brisbane show go on sale at 1pm Thursday, November 22.

Australia’s own alternative and prog metal heroes Twelve Foot Ninja and Voyager have scored slots on Sydney and Melbourne Download Festival's as well as announced a run of side shows across the country to coincide including dates for Brisbane and Gold Coast!

The ‘Upload’ tour kicks off in Perth on Saturday March 2nd and wraps up on Saturday March 23 for an all ages show in Perth.
