Letters From The Colony's Alexander Backlund talks the bands debut album 'Vingette'

February 16, 2018

Today is the release day for Swedish metal band Letters From The Colony’s debut album 'Vingette' (via Nuclear Blast).

An album so well written and complex that it hooks you in from the first spin and takes you on an epic journey from savage slamming brutality to dark atmospheric psychedelia.

And while Letters From The Colony aren’t headlining festivals around the world right now, you can guarantee that it won’t be long before they will be following such a strong debut album release.

If bands like MESHUGGAH, GOJIRA, FALLUJAH, RINGS OF SATURN and TEXTURES are your jam then get ready to be blown away by these guys!

I recently had the chance to chat with the bands frontman Alexander Backlund for the Everblack Podcast to talk about Vingette, their love for Aussie bands such as Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus and how they managed to pull off a mind blowing saxophone solo without actually recording one!
