Arch Enemy are one of the biggest names in modern metal.
With legions of fans around the world, 10 studio albums under their belt and a rich history over 20 years, there seems to be no stopping the Swedish melodic death metal juggernauts.
It has been five years since the band stepped foot on Australian soil.
Since then Arch Enemy has had a significant line up change, with long time front woman Angela Gossow stepping down and passing the vocal duties over to ex The Agonist singer Alissa White-Gluz, while legendary Nevermore shredder Jeff Loomis has joined the ranks on guitar duties.
Now back with the stunning new critically acclaimed album ‘Will to Power’, The band are fully charged and ready to take down under by storm once again for the Download Festival in Melbourne as well as sideshows in select cities.
Nev Pearce spoke to Arch Enemy drummer Daniel Erlandsson for the Everblack Podcast about their much anticipated return down under, their most recent successful American tour and growing up sharing a drum kit with his brother, Adrian Erlandsson from The Haunted.
