INTERVIEW: Virus from DOPE talks Australian Tour with Static-X and More on the Everblack Podcast
In only a few days time industrial rock legends Dope will be hitting the road down under with Wednesday 13 and Static-X for what many are calling the must see gig of the year.
The massive tour kicked off in the U.S a couple of months ago and has seen the bands trek around the globe celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Static-X album Wisconsin Death Trip and paying tribute to their friend, late Static-X frontman Wayne Static, who tragically passed away in 2014.
Nev Pearce spoke to DOPE guitarist Virus for the Everblack Podcast to talk about hitting the road with his old touring buddies Static-X and Wednesday 13, the 20th anniversary of Dope’s Felons and Revolutionaries, his amazing career as a session player and guitar teacher, the Guitar Hero video game, the future of Dope and more!

An uncompromising New York City-based outfit that draws from both heavy metal and industrial music, DOPE's confrontational emissions evoke Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and White Zombie. Emerging in 1999 the group continues to beat the post-industrial, while managing to weave in elements of speed, alternative, rap, and nu-metal.
This is a great chance for STATIC-X fans to hear all their music live again, something which none of us thought we would ever get to enjoy again. Plus with WEDNESDAY 13 and DOPE also on bill what more could you ask for.
Tickets are $60 - Three Internationals for the price of One!
