[Interview] Corey Beaulieu from Trivium talks new album 'What the Dead Men Say'
By Nev Pearce
Over the past 20 years, Grammy-nominated band Trivium have become an unstoppable force in metal.
Even with the recent lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band have pushed through against the odds to release their ninth full-length album, What The Dead Men Say, this week through Roadrunner Records on April 24.
A record that proves that even after two decades, eight albums, and hundreds of sold-out shows behind them, Trivium still has the creative firepower to deliver quality records and keep the fans wanting more for decades to come.
We sat down with Trivium guitarist Corey Beaulieu for the Everblack Podcast to talk about the new album What The Dead Men Say, the concept inspired by Phillip K Dick,
the importance of music during this difficult time, their recent visit down under for the Good Things Festival, being the soundtrack to Mortal Kombat’s SPAWN trailer and more!
